Our luxury wetroom transformation creates spa like retreat

  1. Wet-Rooms

The focus of this luxury wet room was to provide our lovely client with the bathroom design, products and layout she had always wanted but had not yet managed to have achieved. Our client required a bathroom as unique as her and we absolutely agreed and quickly set about helping her to achieve this.

By working closely to identify the individual needs of our client, we designed a room that was intuitive to use, personal in its intent to require low physical effort to enjoy and, most importantly of all to our customer, felt just like a luxury spa retreat.

Though a large space, the bathroom had been made to feel much smaller by the previous installation of a dividing wall in the centre to create a 'wet room' area. We began by opening up the space, removing this wall and unlocking the potential of the entirety of the room. From there the room layout was built gradually with our client, ensuring space was afforded for any additional mobility aids needed in the use of the room. Both safety and style were a priority; including luxury assistive products, built-in shower benches and creating an obstacle-free showering experience.

Creating an accessible bank of drawer units provides a stunning visual feature whilst bringing additional countertop space and storage.

This Halo range from Sanijura in Lacquered Gris Suris Soft harmonises with the grey marble vein of the Carrera wall tile whilst the under mounted LED lighting provides soft illumination for ease and safety during the night.

By creating a showering bench we were able to balance both accessibility and luxury styling in the showering area. The infinity shower drain eliminates the need for a traditional shower drain in the centre of the floor, enhancing the safety and the overall aesthetic of the showering space.

The shower niche further elevates this space providing easily accessible additional storage in a sleek and eye-catching way. Having items stored in the wall of the shower allows access to everyday items without having to bend down or stand and stretch across which could increase the risk of falls and injury.
