When our client's first met with us, they were very keen to utilise the space available within the bathroom as their existing room design had made the room feel very small despite its generous dimensions. The existing room lacked a cohesive, functional design and felt dark and lacklustre with parts of the room not being used resulting in areas of dead space.
By completely redesigning the room layout we were able to create a large open walk-in shower space, a separate luxurious bathing area and a 'his and hers' vanity area with twin sinks giving each area a generous amount of space and distinct purpose.
The colour palette choices for this room were very important; to create both a sense of luxury and space whilst feeling the room come together. The choice of Calacatta porcelain tile was the lynch pin in this room as it pulls together the sleek, crisp white of the luxurious showering and bathing area along with the grey vein pulling in the oxide light grey of the vanity unit and painted window wall. The end result was a feeling of openness with a luxury boutique feel.
