When our clients first began this bathroom renovation project with us, the key focus was on both the modernisation and future-proofing of the space. Adjusting the room layout in the design phase, whilst carefully considering how we could maximise this bathroom's potential, led to a structural adaptation of the existing room in a small yet impactful way.
By removing the door and framing from it's existing position part way down the room and re-siting it, we were able to increase the room's capacity. This allowed us to accommodate a larger, feature washstand and left plenty of scope to include separate bathing and showering zones. By incorporating open-showering into the bathroom design, along with keeping to a natural, nude palette of colours for wall and floor coverings, we were able to create a light, spacious and luxurious bathroom.

Designing an open-showering area, as implemented here, offers a seamless entrance into the shower whilst still separating the showering space from the rest of the bathroom.
This space is further enhanced by the creation of a shower ledge, also known as a 'wall to wall' when, as in this case, it runs across the entire length of the bathroom wall.
This not only provides an eye-catching feature and a useful area to store bathroom products, but also creates the necessary void required for the wall mounted shower valve and the wall hung WC further along the wall.

This Senstec anti-slip shower tray offers complete peace of mind when future-proofing any bathroom showering space. Senstec shower trays are lab tested in wet and soapy conditions, and have the highest proven PTV rating on the market of 36 - rating the chance of slipping at one in one million.
Unlike other shower trays marketed as anti-slip, that are only sprayed with a texture that can become sticky and discolour over time, Senstec trays provide superior grip with their patented 'dimple' technology.
